Witness the exceptional spectacle of thousands of flowers of crocus sativus, the mother plant of saffron, which bloom over a period of a few days (end of October / Beginning of November) and only once a year!
In the heart of an urban saffron at the top of a Parisian building, you are told the secrets of saffron culture, the origin of this spice present in cultures around the world, its footprints in the oldest cultures, and its adaptation to urban agriculture.
Then, with large wicker baskets, you pick the flowers bloomed during the night: a feast of colors and fragrance! Finally, sitting around a table, you learn to carefully prune the precious pistils of saffron flowers and discover how these flower-perfumed filaments are then processed for use in the kitchen.
A real immersion into a bubble of poetry and perfumes, this unique experience will delight outdoor enthusiasts as well as gourmets, gardening fans and goldsmiths who adhere to delicate gestures.
