The Second World War is a very significant period of History which is engraved in our memories and which is still interfering in our days; a very significant period of History. With family, or friends (up to 8 people), GREETS offers you the opportunity to immerge into the landing night of 6th June 1944.
Full of passions and curiosities, hop-on a vintage Jeep and discover the drop-offs objectives and means of parachutists at that time, as well as battle fields of the 502 and 506th Regiments of the 101st Airborne. But the unique and awaited moment is taking place when you will finally dive into the action and battle side by side with “Americans” to deliver France from the occupation.

Let us drive you to the closest point of a German artillery position, 6km from Utah Beach on the hamlet of one of the most historical place of American parachutists : the Sainte Marie du Mont Holdy. You will then be welcomed at the village by French civilians and your guide will come pick you up with a Willys Jeep from 1944. After this timeless adventure, you chauffeur will accompany you back home at the end of the day.
You will be transported through different places (parachutes drop-zones, aircraft and airplane crashes, bunker, etc…) to make you relive those events. Thanks to testimonies from soldiers and civilians, past pictures and archives, your guide will relate you this exceptional part of History. During the experience, you will visit the Holdy battery, the German airborne composed of 4 canons which was successfully taken into control by the Americans.
Only equipped with one of those famous “D Day crickets”, you will wander around the Norman bocage routes. You will then start your investigating mission to meet the American parachutists with a unique and common goal: to take over the Holdy Battery. Imagine you at that time, lost in the woods and let you overwhelmed by the great seeing of parachutists landing on this hostile and unfamiliar territory.
THE WINK OF GREETS: If you are not very informed about this historical passage, you will rapidly get into it. Kids will love to travel inside a Jeep and play “as ifs” roles. Grown-ups will love to play the game as well… indeed, you have no choice, clic and clac your cricket, the enemies are near…
