This honey is the fruit of two loves. He is passionate about bees and a beekeeper. She has been a Cannes resident for 25 years and in love with her city. From the meeting of these two an evidence was born: “Cannes honey”, warmly brooded on the roof of the Juliana hotel in Cannes. Didier, our passionate beekeeper, offers you a total immersion in the fascinating world of bees, right within their hives.

Our expert beekeeper will guide you from the lobby of the Juliana hotel to the roof where, equipped with a full beekeeping suit, you can sit comfortably to listen to him explain his daily life, his passion and ask him all your questions. This will be an opportunity for you to discover the organization of life of the different castes of the hive (worker bees, drones and queen bees), and the way in which they produce Honey.
Equipped with your suit and gloves, open, handle and explore the inside of the hives to discover the beautiful workers and if possible their queen. You can also remove a frame to extract this precious nectar and enjoy it.
In a hotel lounge privatized for the occasion, you will be able to savor the "golden nectar" during a gourmet break which will end your very confidential experience. “Cannes Honey”, made from foraging from the flora present around the Croisette, Palm Beach and the hills of California, is an exceptional honey. A unique experience to live!

DETAILS : This service takes place over 2 hours in Cannes - Private experience valid for 1 to 4 people - Adults and children (from 8 years old) are accepted equipped with closed shoes and pants - Please note that the bees cannot be visited during the season fall and winter (from February 15 to June 15), we will therefore have to wait for their return in spring. Included is a gourmet basket, including a 240g jar of “Cannes Honey”, a special honey wooden spoon, and a personalized beekeeper diploma.
